In 2008, my family and I went visiting to India – in the month of June – during peak Mango Season. From Hyderabad up North to Chennai down south, we did not miss our chance to savour the juice dripping, sweet Indian mango. Hence, we were struck by “Mango Fever”.

Symptoms were; highly acute sense of smell for mangoes, eyes on constant lookout for mango stalls, reseptors on our tounge cried for more dosage of sweetness and belly craved for more…

As it was, our driver took us to the one of Asian’s Biggest Wholesale Market in Koyambedu to purchase mangoes in bulks to be brought back home.

It was 7pm, the fruit market was full of activity from small road side to large wholesale business. Various fruits were on display to customers. I particularly liked the large quantity of huge watermelons piled up in shops. Check out the video I’ve recorded from the scene…and identify as many fruits you can 🙂

As we were returning to our hotel, there were 3 big sack full of mangoes at the back of our van 😀
